FROM DESIRE TO FULLFILMENT

These are two canvas i made after “El Spmet” that took me ages to do…. one mounth and a half repeating the same gesture each days, seing little by little the painting being born.
So I needed to get my hand and mind free for a wide…
Then i took a pen, and waited to see what will happen, what was i feeling after this long introspection…
I made a serie of 7 draws expressing human duality, or the way from doubting to acting, through hope.

From this serie of draws, were borned 2 first canvas of three.

REMED, 3TTMAN, GREMS, ZBIOK @ PURE EVIL GALLERY. London

For the exhibition each one of us had to choose a “special power” his alter-ego could own. And a name for this. Mine was “THE REALUSIONIST”. The one that can erase the frontier between imagination/illusion and reality.

Here is how he looks like.

Part of the exhibition was a few draws we made all 4 togeteher. Pure spontaneity too, the gesture of one of us influencing the gesture of his brother..

FANTASTIC4 VS PUREEVIL.

Part of the exhibition @ PUREEVIL GALLERY. London. March 2010

Featuring 3TTMAN(Madrid), ZBIOK(Wroclaw), PURE EVIL(London), GREMS(Paris), & REMED(Lille).

During the week we prepared the expo, we’ve been invited to paint the roof of the Cordihouse, in London. With no special sketches but a title, we started to freestyle on the wall adding each one words, symbols or icones to the wall, untill it became a huge black and red patchwork.
