P e a c e to you my friends, those I know, those I don’t.
After 6 months of traveling for Art and Life, I’m finally in a sort of holidays and take time to write a bit about my experience in Marrakech.
As I wrote before I spent 40 days having a residency at David Bloch Gallery, in the center of a country I love since longtime named MORROCCO. I had there the most introspective period(s) of my Life.

I’ve been knowing Marrakech for more than 15 years now… As some may know, It influence my path in many ways. Because of discovering other point of views, because I learn there that time is an ally rather than an enemy, and because it’s one of the most interesting place of Art considering the geometry has being used for centuries to develop an amazing abstract figuration language, which obviously influence me a lot either it was consciously or not.
It’s a pleasure for me to say I am currently in Marrakech preparing “EPYPHISM”.
It is a great honor for me to present my first Solo exhibition at the David Bloch gallery in Marrakech, since
this city is very special to me because I have learnt the relativity of time and space in my earlier days overthere. It really changed my Art such as my Life and it s perception since then.
In September, my friend Ricky Lee Gordon, allowed me to come to discover Johanesborg, a mad huge contrasted city, built wright beside the Cradle of Humankind.
There I had the opportunity to meet the director of the RockArt Museum, who introduced me to the amazing ancestral Art of the Khoi san, known for beinng the guardian of our roots.
I got really inspired by the ambiant culture, legends and people, and produced 2 huge murals, along three smaller, 2 canvas and a sculpture in the shape of a prothea flower.
Above, you’ll find a video in which you can see the process and result.
A few days after I came back from the northest of the earth, I had the opportunity to go to its center, in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. There was taking place a festival of muralism in the beautiful island of Sao Miguel.

This travel was some of the most hollyday like I did lately. I had time enough to discover the land and sea, and did really enjoyed its beauty.
To start the summer, in july 2012, I had the chance to travel to Vardo, an island at the extreme north of Norway, where daylight never fade. Since it s above the polar circle, the night nevers comes in summer, the sun always enlighten the land, even through the cloud.
Pobel, a norwegian artist, invite me among other friends from all around the world in order to bring some Life and Creation to a little town from which people were tending to emigrate since the industry of fishing went down.
I truely think we were all happy to bring our piece of Hope to its people. To share something real with authentic human-beings able to survive the absence of light and enhance its perenity. A ying-yang lived to the edge. MY LOVE TO VARDO !
