This summer, i was feeling like moving to the see, to a place with light. I was decided to go to Barcelona, taht i used to love, but something made me change my mind. So, i went to somewhere i never been before in order to refresh my self.
And i was really happy to discover a city of light and soul, in which i met really great people.
There i had the pleasure to met Maria imaginario and the OGA girls, but also Pedro and all the family around.
While i was in London, in June, i also had the oportunity to paint on the roof of a building between Oldstreet and Great Eastern Street.

REMED @ PURE EVIL GALLERY.
An exhibition of draws, canvas, wall, photos and videos by Remed.
Two weeks ago, i’ve been to London city in order to present my first solo show there @ Pure Evil Gallery.
I was quite excited to discover London by summer…i knew the vibe would be nice & warm, since in any cold city, when the light comes out, people just feel it stronger than anywhere else. I was not desapointed and spent so good time there with my man Charley and my brothers & sisters from there. (Big up to Rafffffaaa, Daphné & Gisela:)
I obviously presented some artpieces on paper and canva, and had the chance to paint the wall down the gallery. So that the expo would be more “complete”.
A few days ago, i’ve read something that i liked but almost already forgot. It was something like : “The Artist is the one who receive then transmit”.
I guess it s the sentence that best explain this image.

So, as you’ve understood through the discover of my words/work, most of my art express duality of life, light and shadow…no good with the ignorance of the bad…gotta accept to be in a loop, to be a loop.
After the “fullfilment of desire”, i felt like drawing some selfportrait again. Because of the fact that i’ve been working a lot on bodys, and because i needed a new start. And, when i don’t really know what to paint (or I should say, when I don’t need to paint but i still want), i paint a face, usually mine even if it s not conscious. I don’t think, I’m just in the “act”. And trhought the spontaneous gesture, truth often comes out.
So here’s the quick sketches that leads to a serie of 3 canvas.
