REMED COSMOGONY. Acrylic and spraypaint on wall. (Detail) 2012. London.
During end of june, I went to London in order to take part in the Southbank Festival of the World. There, I met SANER, a mexican artist and friend, who i already met in Madrid 3 years ago. It was a pleasure to improvise some walls with him, outside in front of the Tames, right by the river. A latin summer in London.
We started with creating a serie of faces. The idea was that one of us would do the global shape of the figure while the other will fill the inside of it. Mixing in one piece, two diferent writings, textures and cultures.
This first one is one of my favorite.

After we painted the walls with a white background, we were proposed to paint directly on the deep grey rough concrete. It was a pleasure to see how the colors were shining on this neutral surface. We did a piece on the top, and later I two other down the street.
