I stayed 10 days in Lisboa.
One sunny afternoon i’ve been in a special place in one of Lisboa’s hill.
My friend Pedro bring me to this abandoned area and i felt something really good about it.
At that time, i was working on bodys, on movement…also on making my shapes less straight, more organic, more human..
I was searching how to make this body stand up, rise, or at least opening his self on the “around”. For on reason i know, most of the character i was drawing were often kneeling, and bending… i now know i was not really ready, but somehow a preview of what could (will) be the first step of the rising started at that point. I thank lisboa for putting this cheminy in the middle of the wall, that made me turn the head up. I’m really happy i can share it with this city that i loved and gave me so much light and hope.
